Configure Remote Settings

Configure Remote Settings to allow remote desktop connections.

A Remote Desktop Connection to your computer at WPI allows access to applications used by that WPI computer.

  1. WPI Computer Requirements
    • Powered on.
    • Remote Desktop is configured to allow connection from other computer(s). To configure in Windows 7 click on Start Globe, right click on Computer Name, select Properties. Click on Remote Settings, select Allow connections from computers running any version of Remote Desktop.
  2. Off-Campus Computer Requirements
    • Powered on.
    • Remote Desktop Connection application is installed.
