Important Information for Site Administrators

WordPress sites provide a self-service option for building and maintaining a Web presence for your Personal (faculty/staff), Lab, Project Center, etc.

WordPress training is available by request. While the Service Desk can process site and access requests, site administrators and editors are responsible for all content updates. New site Administrators are strongly encouraged to attend WordPress training, to gain the skills needed to effectively manage site content.

Responsibile Party Responsibilities
IT Service Desk Create new site(s), retire/remove site(s), manage site access (add/remove access for users), troubleshoot issues with existing sites
Marketing WordPress training by appointment
Site Administrator All site content changes are the responsibility of the Site Administrator. This includes adding or removing content and all content modifications.
