Screenshots Windows

How to capture an image of what is displayed on your Windows computer screen

  1. Locate the Print Screen (sometimes abbreviated PrntScrn) button on your keyboard. It is typically to the right of all of the F keys.
  2. Click on the window that you would like to take a screenshot of.
  3. Press ALT+Print Screen.
  4. A screenshot of that window is now copied into memory. Paste into a new file, using an application such as Microsoft Word or Paint. Save the file.

NOTE: To take a screenshot of multiple windows, click Print Screen for the third step. This will copy an image of your entire screen into memory.
