Update Banner Password

Banner Production passwords do not automatically update when a WPI Windows password is changed. To access Banner with a new password, users must update their Banner Password.


Note

Using a password in Banner that is not EXACTLY the same as the Windows WPI Domain password will result in the following Error Code:
ORA-1017: invalid username/password; logon denied.

Requirements

  • Active WPI Account
  • Access to bannerweb.wpi.edu


Instructions

  1. Navigate to bannerweb.wpi.edu
  2. On the Main Menu tab, select Change Banner/Oracle password
  3. Type in your new/current WPI Windows password
  4. Select Set password
