As part of Enterprise Transformation, Identity Access Management improves account security and maintenance through Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR).


SSPR enables you to reset, unlock and change your password independently with the added security of having an extra verification method, like a phone number or passcode.

Action Needed

Verification methods must be defined by September 25, 2018.


Frequently Asked Questions

Will the September 25 deadline impact my ability to login to all network resources?
No. After September 25, only login to the WPI Portal at or Office 365 will require that you set your verification methods. Once the verification methods are set, you will no longer be prompted and login will proceed as usual.
If I already set my verification methods, do I have to take any action?
No. If you already set your verification methods you do not need to take action. You can view or change the verification methods you defined at

SSPR Verification Methods Required as of September 26

If Self Service Password Reset verification methods have not yet been defined, beginning September 26 at 1:00 PM login to WPI Portal at or Office 365 will prompt you to set verification methods. Once complete, login to these resources will proceed.
