WPI is monitoring ongoing reports of Distributed Denial of Service attacks against 3rd party DNS company DYN.
WPI users may be experiencing issues accessing certain third party Web sites and WPI services that leverage DYN's services.
Includes Qualtrics, People Admin, STARS, Echo 360, and more third party tools.

Normal Operations Resumed
DYN has reported that the DDoS attacks have been resolved and that normal operations have resumed.

Qualtrics Survey Tool unavailable
Accessibility to the WPI Qualtrics survey tool (taking, sending, and administering surveys) has been affected intermittently throughout the day due to these attacks. All data is secure and has not been impacted. We will update once the service is full restored.

Document previewing unavailable in Canvas
Canvas itself is not impacted by this attack, however third party integrations for document previewing (Crocdoc and Box) are currently unavailable. This outage will be presented as the Unicycling Panda load screen with no document loading.
